Hello, I'm Sarah!

I'm self taught in design, HTML and CSS I spent a number of years designing and selling online journal templates while working as Team Manager for AYME before beginning a Linguistics MA at Edinburgh University. Throughout my time at university I worked as a freelance web designer for a number of organisations and individuals. The flexibility of self-employment was ideal - although sometimes challenging - while studying full-time, and gave me a creative outlet to complement the endless essay writing!

I am a huge fan of social media and online networking and love using it as a tool to engage particiaption between organisations and the public, and also to help me keep in touch with current friends and make new friends and contacts.

I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, and spend my spare time photographing everything I see, reading anything I can find and desperately trying to make my home made shortbread edible!
